Team DuraMAX Racing

Since 2017, DuraMAX has utilized motorsports as a vehicle to build its brand base through partnerships within three major segments of the industry within the United States – NASCAR, IndyCar, and Sprint Car Racing.

NASCAR

NASCAR has established itself as one of the most popular forms of entertainment within the sports industry. The series also provides tremendous business-to-business opportunities. DuraMAX has been involved with NASCAR on multiple occasions since 2022.

2022 DuraMAX Drydene 400
Dover International Speedway

The 2022 DuraMAX Drydene 400 presented by RelaDyne was a NASCAR Cup Series race held on May 1 and 2, 2022, at Dover Motor Speedway in Dover, Delaware. Contested over 400 laps on the 1-mile (1.6 km) concrete speedway, it was the 11th race of the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season. The race began on Sunday, May 1, before rain delayed it to Monday, May 2, after 78 laps were complete. Chase Elliott was the race winner.

Not only was DuraMAX the title sponsor of the event, but the brand was also carried on by driver Corey LaJoie on his Spire Motorsports – DuraMAX / Drydene Sponsored Ford. The third-generation racer qualified 21st and finished 18th.

DuraMAX returned to NASCAR for the 67th running of the Daytona 500 in February 2025. The brand again partnered with Corey LaJoie, this time with Rick Ware Racing. LaJoie raced his way into the 500 field during Thursday’s qualifier and started 12th. He made a thrilling run behind the wheel of the Rick Ware Racing No. 01 DuraMAX/Take 5 FORD racing into the lead on multiple occasions, including with less than 10 laps remaining. He finished 22nd after a late-race accident but gave DuraMAX an amazing ride.

IndyCar

Since 2017, DuraMAX has been aligned with Andretti Global competing in INDYCar. For nine seasons, the DuraMAX brand has been carried in INDYCAR circles and most recently to a sixth-place finish by Kyle Kirkwood.

The relationship was a vehicle to build the DuraMAX brand and included exposure in Andretti’s INDY Lights team before moving fully to the INDYcar teams in 2018.

Over the years, the relationship has included working with drivers including Alexander Rossi, Colton Herta and Ryan Hunter Ray. Current driver Kirkwood has earned a pair of victories early in the 2025 campaign, with his most recent triumph coming in the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix on June 1.

Sprint Car Racing

DuraMAX entered the World of Sprint Car Racing in 2022 with Shark Racing’s Logan Schuchart. The driver of the No. 1s DuraMAX Sprint Car competes in the sports’ top series: The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series.

Schuchart has been one of the top drivers on tour sine 2016 and competes more than 80 nights across the United States at dirt tracks ranging in size from a quarter mile to a half mile.

Schuchart’s first triumph with DuraMAX on his No. 1s came on the big stage as won the the Bristol Bash at the famous Bristol Motor Speedway in April 2022. He would score several wins that season including wins in the prestigous Knoxville Nationals and season-ending World Finals in Charlotte.

Schuchart biggest triumph came in July 2023 when won the richest Sprint Car Race in the history of the sport. Schuchart topped an 80-car field in the Eldora Million leading all 50 laps en route to a dominating victory that paid him $1,002,023. RelaDyne customers and excetuives were onhand to expeirence the once-in-a-lifetime victory.

Schuchart contineus racing the World of Outlaws in 2025 carrying the DuraMAX colors to victory lane twice already early this season.
