Since 2017, DuraMAX has utilized motorsports as a vehicle to build its brand base through partnerships in major racing segments across the United States – NASCAR, IndyCar, Midget Car Dirt Racing, and Sprint Car Racing.
DuraMAX continues to expand its presence in NASCAR and beyond with the launch of the DuraMAX Texas Grand Prix at Circuit of The Americas (COTA) — a bold new chapter for the brand on one of North America’s most iconic racing stages.
As the title sponsor of the DuraMAX Grand Prix, RelaDyne and DuraMAX are powering a world-class racing experience that brings together speed, performance, and innovation. Hosted at the state-of-the-art COTA facility in Austin, Texas, the event reflects DuraMAX’s commitment to high-performance environments and meaningful brand experiences that connect with customers, partners, and racing fans alike.
The 2026 DuraMAX Texas Grand Prix resulted in a Texas-Three-Step, with Tyler Reddick of 23XI Racing becoming the first driver in NASCAR history to win the first three Cup Series races to start a season after securing Sunday’s victory. Learn More!
This new milestone builds on DuraMAX’s established presence in NASCAR over the past several years. Beginning in 2022, DuraMAX served as title sponsor of the DuraMAX Drydene 400 at Dover Motor Speedway and has since appeared on the NASCAR Cup Series stage through driver partnerships, including appearances at marquee events such as the Daytona 500.
From NASCAR to COTA, DuraMAX’s motorsports strategy continues to evolve — leveraging high-visibility racing platforms to showcase the brand’s performance, reliability, and growing national footprint.
DuraMAX proudly took center stage at the Chili Bowl Nationals, one of the most prestigious and fiercely contested events in dirt racing. Held each January inside the Tulsa Expo Raceway in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the Chili Bowl brought together hundreds of elite drivers, more than 200 race teams, and passionate fans for a week of nonstop competition and unmatched intensity.
As part of a performance-driven partnership with Rossi Petty Motorsports, RelaDyne showcased the DuraMAX brand across multiple high-powered Dirt Midget entries during the 40th Annual Chili Bowl Nationals. Alongside RelaDyne and Drydene-branded cars, DuraMAX was prominently represented throughout the week, reflecting the grit, precision, and relentless pursuit of excellence that define both the brand and the sport.
Throughout the 2026 event, drivers carrying the DuraMAX colors battled through a deep and highly competitive field, delivering strong performances night after night. From preliminary races to feature events, the team demonstrated the preparation, reliability, and adaptability required to succeed on one of racing’s toughest stages.
More than just a race, the Chili Bowl Nationals embodied the passion and endurance that resonate with DuraMAX customers, partners, and fans alike. The event delivered broad visibility across traditional and social channels, reinforcing DuraMAX’s connection to high-performance competition and strengthening the brand’s growing national presence.
DuraMAX expanded its motorsports footprint into sprint car racing in 2022 through a partnership with Logan Schuchart and Shark Racing — one of the most competitive teams in the sport. Driving the No. 1s DuraMAX Sprint Car, Schuchart competes in the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, widely regarded as the premier series in dirt track racing.
A mainstay on the national tour since 2016, Schuchart competes more than 80 nights each season at dirt tracks across the United States, ranging from tight quarter-mile bullrings to high-speed half-mile ovals. His aggressive driving style and consistency have made him one of the top contenders in sprint car racing.
Schuchart quickly delivered breakthrough moments for DuraMAX, earning his first victory with the brand on the car at the Bristol Bash at Bristol Motor Speedway in April 2022. That momentum carried through the season with multiple high-profile wins, including victories at the prestigious Knoxville Nationals and the season-ending World Finals in Charlotte.
The partnership reached a historic milestone in July 2023 when Schuchart captured the richest sprint car race in history — the Eldora Million. Leading all 50 laps against an 80-car field, he secured a dominant $1,002,023 victory, a once-in-a-lifetime moment experienced firsthand by RelaDyne customers and executives in attendance.
Now extended into the 2025 season and beyond, the DuraMAX and Schuchart Shark Racing partnership continues to deliver success at the highest level. Schuchart has already carried the DuraMAX colors to Victory Lane multiple times early in the season, reinforcing the brand’s alignment with performance, durability, and winning on racing’s toughest stages.
